Interested in incandescent?

The incandescent lamp is the most recognizable light lamp in the world. It was invented first and has enjoyed popularity in a variety of applications, from homes to office environments. The most important thing Building Bright wants you to know about incandescent is that it is gradually being phased out. But while you still need it, we provide it.

Incandescent = heat loss.

The incandescent lamp has delivered good qualities for nearly two centuries, especially cost effectiveness. However, the lamp also generates a significant amount of heat loss (roughly 90% of its power is converted into heat rather than light) and, as a result, is expensive to power over the life of the lamp.

There are many reasons to replace incandescent.

It was almost inevitable that more energy-efficient options would be invented. Since incandescent lamps will inevitably be phased out in the coming years, Broadway Lights encourages our customers to consider upgrading to LED or CFL. There are many reasons to switch, such as the ability to lower your wattage and save money, spend more on the outset but save significantly more over the lifetime of the lamp, and gain better light quality and lower heat output.

If you’re interested in learning more about upgrading your incandescent lamps, Building Bright can help you determine what replacement best fits your needs.
